Telehealth Services
Telehealth is the practice of delivering speech therapy sessions via remote access using computers. It is an excellent solution for families who are unable to attend the clinic due to distance, illness, or other extenuating circumstances. It allows therapy to be delivered online across a number of different platforms so students can continue to access services from home.

With today's technology, students engaging in telehealth sessions can have access to:

-
Face-to-face instruction
-
A shared online whiteboard
-
Screen mirroring
-
Document sharing

All that's required is a computer and stable internet connection – in some cases, a set of headphones might help with sound quality, but most computers are equipped with in-built microphones.

As of April 2020, some private health companies are providing rebates for telehealth sessions! Check with your provider to see if you are covered.
